Recent history reminder: Greeley CO was the site of the ICE bust/roundup at a local meat-packing plant that led to much gnashing of teeth about the “break-up of families”. Looks to me like they missed one that needed a southbound bus ticket...

Fairbanks City Council was greatly perflummoxed to get this award, although in all honesty no one was surprised. Since it might hurt tourism they got Fairbanks reclassified as not metropolitan which took it off the list altogether. Whatever works.
So who are the perps up there in Fairbanks?I would assume white off the top but you also have a significant Native American population.
I am presuming that black and Hispanic criminals are few and far between because of your demographics.
Forget the ethnicity, as the article says, most of these gang thugs are citizens meaning they were born here. They could just as easy be black thugs from Detroit's inner city or York.
Gangster punks are gangster punk and the most alarming fact is that most of them, if not all of them have the same sociopathic attitude _ "It's my choice". How can you effectively deal with that other than just throwing them in prison?

Yeah, and lots of money sloshing around. Also a ratio of single males to single wimmen of 20:1. You know some boys will get bored. Just on my little street the Troopers showed up half a dozen times last winter, and dragged off maybe 3-4 total. It’s all sweetness and brushed with sundew here in the North.

I just looked up Fairbanks in Citydata.com.I was surprised that 11% of Fairbanks is black and 13% Indian.Also surprised that the city doesn’t warm up much in the summer,barely getting over 70 on the average in July and August.

Yes, we have over 20 hours actual daylight now and it hasn’t been actually dark for a month. Daily temperature ranges from 40-70 this time of year. Some people go nuts with all the daylight all the time and think they have to be up until they pass out at 3 AM. In winter when there is maybe 5 hours of actual daylight and it is kind of rosy like dawn at local noon, they also go crazy from lack of light. Alcohol doesn’t actually help, but a lot try it. Although a small city, it is city-like rather than town-like.
I just visited my family on eastern LI for the first time in 5 years ( I am in Japan ) ...and was informed that there are Mexican gangs in the relatively small town of Riverhead which is just a couple of miles from my folks home in South Jamesport . Unreal .
Funny how the media can always find these violent low lives for a human interest story but the cops can’t put them away. Maybe if they spent less time writing speeding tickets.
