In South Carolina, Mr. Graham faces re-election next year, but Republican officials there said he is unlikely to face a primary challenger.

I find it amazing that the state that produced Andrew Jackson, John C. Calhoun, and Strom Thurmond can't come up with anything better than that pathetic hack Graham.

“...the challenger doesn’t stand a chance.”

That was true here in Ohio. A couple of REAL conservatives ran against DeRINO in the primary, and DeRINO still won. (I voted against DeRINO in the primary.) DeRINO got trounced by the RAT/commie candidate SherRodham Brown. So we went from RINO to RAT. Not much difference, except with a RAT, you know what you are dealing with.

I want to see a bill that does one this first: secure the borders, tighten them down, no one comes in without papers. Where is this bill?

Engaging the Nation to Fight for Our Right to Control Entry Act (S.1269) introduced by U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.)

The Senate "leadership" didn't fast track this bill like they did the Bush-Kennedy-McCain amnesty. Call your Senators and tell them to support S.1269

“but Republican officials there said he is unlikely to face a primary challenger.”

That sorry excuse for a man could be replaced by a fence post, and we’d be better off for it.

In South Carolina, Mr. Graham faces re-election next year, but Republican officials there said he is unlikely to face a primary challenger.

Why in the hell not!

Then it's incumbent on those of us who still care about the Republican Party and it's conservative principles and heritage to start working today to identify and push true conservatives into the primary process. Here in Georgia, Herman Cain is an obvious choice to replace Chambliss or Isakson. Imagine if you can, a Southern state sending a conservative black Senator to Washington. The point is that we have to begin working today to make sure that our conservative candidates are known throughout the state, that their positions on the issues are well articulated, that their volunteer and fund raising infrastructures are in place, and that the seditious behavior of the incumbents is not forgotten.

"John McCain has always prided himself as a man who marches to the beat of a different drummer," Mr. Tancredo told The Times yesterday. "How depressing to learn that the drummer is Ted Kennedy."

Great line by Tancredo! Right up there with Duncan's remarks about the Kennedy wing of the Republican party.

Fla. is a crucial state so Mel losing puts the Dems in charge of some states in the South. Punish people by supporting primariy opponents , candidates who will still beat and win over their Dem opponents. Unless we put a winner up against the Dems, being sanctimonious in our glory over a RINO doesn’t do a thing to win the war.

Correct.
So the Republicans had better send up a few competent folks to challenge Mel in the primaries.
Cause I can not in good conscience vote for this assclown.

Pols being what they are, some ambitious Republican is going to react to the blood in the water and challenge Graham. God bless whoever it might be.
