yesterday the crooked ole man from Nevada said he would pull the measure from this years congress if debate was not shut off today.

Yeah, but not against the "bill," only against ending debate on the bill, correct?

Folks am I wrong here? To the extent that the Dems are losing, more debate likely means more "poison pill" amendments, which will kill the bill . . . but it could also mean more "compromise."
