As bad as this was, it would be utterly stupid for AZ voters to kick out Kyl, who has been about a 90% ACU rating. Except for this, he has been rock solid on everything else. I don’t think he should be lumped in. He made a mistake. Even Reagan admitted to some.
With two failed cloture votes, largely due to Republicans, and his denial that this is a Democratic Bill, he's got all the political cover he needs to table this thing and move on to what he cares about.
Here’s four of them: Chambliss, Isakson, Graham, Kyl, McCain. And I’d add Hagel and Specter to the list. Traitors one and all.

I beleve all the media talk on this bill is a sham.The Democrats have the votes in the Congress and they want the bill.The President wants the bill for his LEGACY.Only a change by the President will stop this bill from becoming law.
I want to see that guy with the big moustache, hispanic I think, who was so for this bill, on TV eating crow.

P.S. Lindsey didn’t seem to be having as good of a time back home in South Carolina during the Memorial Day Break. He was booed at a GOP convention.
He hasn't given up yet. He's saying they need to do what ever it takes to get this passed. Tabling it doesn't mean it is dead. It means it's on hold.

Dingy Harry is talking about illegals, garlic, and onions.
He is also talking about “an illegal who could sing and talk but couldn’t get a pathway to legalization”....I don’t understand the connection.
As a result, says Dingy, he is pulling the bill of the floor. However, he still has “every desire to figure out a way to get this bill passed.” I wonder what he meant by this last cryptic remark.

They can keep debating but Reid said if this second cloture vote didn’t pass he’d pull the bill from the floor. In other words it’s dead...for now. I hope for a long time. We’ll have to be vigilant or these slugs will try to slip through in the middle of the night.
