At what personal risk? What do you mean? How is taking shots at "big business" in Vermont aside from the dairy industry there or the (Castro loving) "Ben and Jerry's" a risk in any way, shape or form? The Sanders amendment is utterly pernicious. It will force American hi-tech businesses to either cease to be competitive, or to relocate in other countries where there is easier access to expertise.

Let there be an end to this talk of Sanders as a patriot. he is nothing of the sort. Here he is, in his own words:

(I) believe that we must develop a path to citizenship for the 12 million illegal immigrants already in the United States.
Sanders is ONLY against the aspects of the bill that appear to him to aid American business.

Sanders is FOR amnesty i.e. the “path to citizenship” for illegal aliens.

In other words, Sanders has simply expressed the standard Democrat position on the issue. Sanders wants illegal aliens to become voters because that means the Democrats solidify and increase their gains.
