Wow, who is this latest griper on the Senate floor? Mel Martinez seems to pretend the message isn’t clear:
1. Secure our borders.

4. Enforce our present law. (i.e., prosecute illegal employers and deport at least the abusive illegals)
5. Create a sane status for truly helpful foreign workers.
I wrote to Mr. Martinez today. It probably wasn’t my eloquent best, but I said, very respectfully, that he HAS to be a secret Democrat or a secret duel citizen of Mexico; nothing else makes sense.
