There was a story in the news this week stating that Jorge was shocked at the response that he received after the speech. That indicates to me just how out of touch he really is with the base. The story was posted here and did not get lots of attention, but I do believe he is blinded, maybe be choice, to the reality of today’s America. He is so focused on Iraq, that he focus on America has completely dried up. Don’t be surprised to see Jorge, and many of the Republican Congress members to suddenly come out with statements saying how the misjudged the will of the people — a bit of CYA is in order, or at least that will be how it plays out.

Well thank you for that clarification on the President’s reception at the speech.
But I must say that I don’t feel the change in Jorge. I hear propaganda against honest debate by Americans who want enforcement.

And that tells me enforcement is the furtherst thing in their minds.

My belief is there will be the usual doubletalk but no CYA. They will await another major holiday like fourth of July to once again attempt to ram this through.

They’ve made it abundantly clear. And we stand to lose our republic as a result.

Do you remember the wee hours of the morning after the election--when Tony Snow came out and chortled and chirped and rejoiced that now, at last--the admin could achieve it's fondest dream, it's first priority--surrender to Mexico. That was in November.

And we've been kicked in the teeth ever since.

The GOP elites think that al we conservatives do is sit in fear and trembling of Hillary Clinton. They'll serve us up a plate of drek and expect us to eat it because the GOP will rescue us from the Wicked Witch.

Well, I am not that scared of Hillary.
