Just saw this commercial on FOX in NY from Texas Employers for Immigration Reform site. (http://txeir.org/default.aspx). They’re pushing back bigtime.

We already have millions of hispanic workers all over our streets here in Dallas Texas area, driving to work yesterday morning (yes I actually work) they were cutting lawns, working for the cities of Richardson, Carrollton, Addison, Plano, Dallas fixing our streets, they were the roofers repairing our roofs (you know low wage earners)
they are construction workers building our homes, oh did I mention putting up fences (you should see the gem of a fence placed next door, OMG!)

We don’t need no stinkin fence..

And the rest who can’t get their hands on one of those LOW wage jobs....they just go and steal from the rest of us, just watch local news every night!!

We don’t need no stinkin fence

do we Mr Guttierez, what we need are MORE illegals standing on street corners selling dope to minors...

Here is a list of the companies supporting amnesty from the txeir.org Web site:

It would be a good idea for Texans to express their displeasure with the businesses and trade groups involved. I have not purchased any Tyson Foods products since the early 1990s because of the owner's close ties to Bill Clinton. It looks like Pilgrim's Pride is not an alternative. BTW, for those who live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area or the Panhandle, Braum's ice cream stores sell dairy products produced by the Braum family's dairy operations in Oklahoma, along with a limited selection of meat and produce. I am not aware that either the company or any farm or food trade association based in Oklahoma supports the amnesty bill before Congress. Also, people should consider spending their tourist dollars in places other than San Antonio or South Padre Island, where the local chambers of commerce support amnesty.

Those who betray their countrymen for the sake of cheap labor should not be rewarded by patriotic consumers.

Boy, that’s weak. Most enthusiastic immigration supporters I know are pissed off at how lousy contruction has been; and it’s the absence of real estate that drove housing prices up; and now housing is settling down anyway.
