I truly hope this dies this year. My hope is that some single elements will get approved. Congress is under great pressure to pass something more along the lines of enforcement first. I’d be happy with piecemeal enforcement bill going thru. This “comprehensive “ beast has to be stopped.
What pressure? There are two pressures.
Socialists want illegal alien votes.
Conservatives want a secure border.
Better status quo than compromise. We can still deport them, throw them in the slammer, stop them at the border. We have plenty of laws now.

The more laws, the tougher the enforcement. All we need is repeal of many bad laws of the past 40 years—and consistent, impartial enforcement of the EXISTING laws after that.
