You’ve never heard of them before?

What with the Myers nomination, not pardoning Libby, supporting Rinos for reelection supporting this stupid amnesty deal me thinks he is out of touch.

Don't forget his refusal to pardon the 2 Border Patrolmen who made the mistake of actually doing their jobs, and are now paying for that mistake with 10 year prison terms. And I'm not forgetting his lack of action as Commander in Chief to protect the careers of Christian military and naval chaplains who now aren't allowed to pray in Jesus name lest they offend Muslims, Muslims who have their own chaplains who can pray to their pagan moon god with no restrictions. As commander in chief of all US armed forces, Bush could abolish that absurd policy with one short order to the Chiefs of Staff.

About the only issue on which Bush has acted as I want him to is right to life. He has been solid as a rock on that issue so far, but is his support for right to life also subject to reversal if his pals at the WSJ editorial desk object?

I want to support Bush and I want to believe that he is a decent man who doesn't fully understand the damage he is doing. But after this latest amnesty/open borders debacle I'm having a hard time believing it.

As a reasonable form of apology to we, the bedrock Conservatives, I would gladly accept the President to withdraw that piece o’ sh*t Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill from the Congress at once. I could then gladly deal out forgiveness at that time.

In reading on FR tonite I am hearing that someone asked a politico somewhere re the shamnesty debate “where’s the fence?”. Obviously meaning the fence on the border that congress passed legislation on last year.

I am interested in emailing that exact phrase to more than a few of my RINO legislators and others.

Sorry for the confusion i created.

"Those determined to find fault with this bill will always be able to look at a narrow slice of it and find something they don't like," Mr. Bush said in the May 29 speech about the legislation now being debated in the Senate. "If you want to kill the bill, if you don't want to do what's right for America, you can pick one little aspect out of it, you can use it to frighten people. Or you can show leadership and solve this problem once and for all."

Seems to me, if we can find something we don't like looking at "a narrow slice", is he not saying the whole thing would have a lot of things we don't like?

Some Republicans on Capitol Hill said that Mr. Bush seemed to be questioning their patriotism, and several conservative activists said the president was splitting the Republican Party by insulting those who have been his most loyal supporters.

He was insulting our intelligence. I've been burned before by the pro-illegals. Won't stand still for it this time.

Mr. Snow yesterday said the immigration dispute between the president and conservatives "does not mark a point of disjunction," and emphasized that the White House recognizes and is responding to conservative opposition to the measure.

Responding by telling us we don't care about doing what's right for the country.

"We understand if you're going to get this thing done forced down the throats of the American people, you're gonna need Republicans," Mr. Snow said. "It's important to build a large coalition, including our conservative base."

They want the money they can earn and send back to Mexico

That amounted to approximately $20,000,000,000 last year, taken straight out of American pockets and wired straight to Mexico. 20 billion simolians is just pocket change to Washington's fat cat pols who think in terms of multi-trillion dollar budgets, but to the part time working class American who can't make his minimum credit card payment without borrowing from the local arm and a leg finance company it's a little more than that.

Who knows what would happen if a few of us picked up on that phrase (where’s the fence”) and emailed, faxed, bumper sticker it to a few people.

Remember the “we support our troops” bumper stickers and the old “where’s the beef” slogans?

The med program was more socialism and was not free, who is paying for that?

Now who is paying for all the things with illegals?

All of it is screwed up.

Amen, Brother! (or Sister) I’ve had enough of this guy. The only way he can make it right is to renounce this piece of crap and solemnly swear to veto it if the Congress sends it to him. Wait a minute, he solemnly swore to uphold the Constitution but has allowed a foriegn invasion without lifting a finger.

Trying hard to think of a way he could make it up to me.

Still thinking.

Nope. Can’t trust him.

Riiiiight! Sorry, I don’t believe him. I’m one of those vigilante bigots who got the message loud and clear! So, there’s no reason for Tony to try to do damage control. It won’t work with me!

A biggest march on Washington ever, with local marches for those who can’t make the trip, is the only thing that will do the job. It would have to be monstrous so the MSM could not ignore/diminish it.

I also would take a week off and support others with transportation and other expenses. My country is worth more to me than money.

I have never organized a family picnic much less something this massive. Who/where/how do we find someone on our side with experience and/or contacts for organizing a political protest such as this? Promise Keepers is the only non-leftist group I can think of who put on a large march in the recent past.

And in 2005 when he nominatd Harriet Miers for the SCOTUS, didn’t he call conservative activists who opposed her nomination “sexists”?

Getting to be a habit with King George II.

If you get a march together, please let me know. I’m in TN, but will find a way to get there. This travesty has to be stopped dead in its tracks!
