Amazingly, Lott voted against the Kennedy amendment and for the Cornyn amendment. I predict he will vote for the bill itself though.

Lott is partially redeeming himself.... Maybe he needs more irate citizens calling him.

In fact, I would say that the angry response from the base *is being noted by the media* and it is having an effect.

Every single vote *for* the Cornyn Amendment should be a vote *against* the final bill. Call and make the point that the failure of the Cornyn Amendment makes this bill fundamentally flawed!
