Oh OK sorry I thought you could be reasoned with. Don’t bother to read or reply to any of my posts. You aren’t ignorant, you’re a bigot blinded by Armenian/Greek propaganda. I’ve stopped trying to bring the smallest hint of common sense into people like you.

I believe if the Turks felt there would be little or no meaning repercussions they would attack all the Kurds in Iraq

I disagree. They have no reason to attack all the Kurds. Their main concerns are two things - stopping Kurdish terrorism, and preventing a part of their country from being taken away and seceeded to another nation. Those have always been their goals, since the Kurdish terrorism and seperatist movements started in the 70s. And speaking of the Armenians, ironically, it was the Kurds that carried out much of the attacking after being given free reign to do so by Ottoman officials. The Kurds were the ones living in eastern Turkey where the Armenians used to live.

we do not read of "Kurdish terrorists" self-detonating in cars slaughtering scores of innocent victims

Actually, we do read of it. Kurdish terrorism of bombing and murdering civilians and European tourists in Turkey has been going on for nearly 30 years. It's just not given much coverage in the US press as it's not Americans being killed. But the US, UK, and EU have all designated the Kurdish PKK a terrorist organization for some pretty good reasons.

You can look them up in the State Dept's 2007 list of terrorist organizations (under Kongra-Gel): http://www.state.gov/s/ct/rls/crt/2006/82738.htm

When was the last time Kurds or even the communist PPK attacked American or other Coalition troops in Iraq?

They haven’t, to my knowledge. And that’s why I replied to your comment saying Kurdish terrorists haven’t attacked innocent victims - because they have, in the thousands - and not to your comment on American troops. But there’s no question that the PKK is a terrorist organization. They may not have killed American soldiers, but they’ve attacked and murdered scores of innocent Turkish civilians and European tourists in Turkey. An example - just last August the PKK set off a bomb in a Turkish resort town that seriously injured 20 people, including 10 British tourists. And there’ve been many more similar incidents, including ones just last month.

I fully realize the PPK are communist terrorists and have a long history of acts of terrorism inside Turkey.

Non PPK Kurds have been our allies in Iraq and we need to protect them from any Turkish invasions using the PPK as an excuse to slaughter Kurds simply because they are Kurds, just as they did with the Armenians.

The bloody Turks to this day still deny the Armenian genocide took, place even on FR.

If Turkish troops were to start indisciminately killing Iraqi Kurds just because they’re Kurds, then of course we should intervene. However, that’s not what’s been happening, and I doubt it will happen. The Armenians were a century ago. I do think that Turkey should be allowed to protect itself against the Kurdish terrorists coming over from Iraq and killing its civilians, as long as only terrorists/rebels and their strongholds are targeted.

I understand what you are saying. When total war breaks out in the Near and Middle East I believe we both know whose side Turkey shall be on.
