No, I think it’s as much full of crap as your post. “Pro-life” has never meant being satisfied with states permitting abortion, and pro-choice has never meant being in favor of state prohibitions of abortion. #24 is the most tortured abuse of language I have ever read on Free Republic, and your post is an outright falsehood.

One is when you checked a box in 1994 when you were running for Senate, where you — the box said, "Abortion should be legal in all circumstances for the first three months." That wasn't your voting record, interestingly. Did you make a mistake checking the box?

But here's what the deal is on that. I've always thought that Roe v. Wade was a wrong decision, that they usurped what had been the law in this country for 200 years, that it was a matter that should go back to the states. When you get back to the states, I think the states should have some leeway.

As I posted before, Hannity cut him off and he couldn't finish his thought so we will need clarification on what he meant. However, if you look at this video from the 90's you will notice that he said the exact same thing and completed by saying that abortion should not be criminalized.
When I posted that Thompson came out as pro choice I was expressing my own opinion based on what he said. My belief is that life begins at conception and that any form of abortion is nothing short of Murder. So this talk of allowing first trimester abortions and giving leeway may please some but it won't please me. So make of this what you want and stop with the personal attacks.
