Why? Plenty of time. We have too long of campaigns now with too busy of a field so let the herd thin and get in when what you have to say actually gets heard.

A year and a half before election day isn't "sitting on his ass". It's giving the public a break from the meaningless babble that's this endless campaign.
We'll be so worn out from the bloviating from all the other candidates that we'll be ready to hear someone with a brain and a clue about REALITY, as opposed to some of the Republicans and all the Dems.
