Friends, your encouragement has me thinking we can change Washington and help America meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. We're entering a new phase of this process and we aren't going to do things the same old way.
Now I need your support to keep us moving forward.
Fred Thompson
There's a lot more coming, so keep coming back...
They’re asking for a lot if info...anyway to sign up with just an eddress?
Done
The man is serious. He isnt talking business as usual!
YESSSSSS!!!
Why? Because we're so distracted by Rudy, McCain and...and...uh....someone else, I think...
A year and a half before election day isn't "sitting on his ass". It's giving the public a break from the meaningless babble that's this endless campaign.
We'll be so worn out from the bloviating from all the other candidates that we'll be ready to hear someone with a brain and a clue about REALITY, as opposed to some of the Republicans and all the Dems.

That’s fine, and Fred may (probably will) do quite well once he announces. Still, all else equal (and I don’t know this to be the case) I would tend toward Hunter over Thompson just because he’s been out there.
Either way, Thompson will have my full attention once he announces.
Thanks. Just wanted to be sure.
Will he pardon George Bush?
He just mentioned the site that says nothing.
“Will he pardon George Bush?”
probably not! LOL
I dont see that it tells me anything in my search, but apparently Fred Himself is plugging the site on TV
But I darn sure liked the first three responses.

Exactamundo. This is going to be the longest damn campaign of all time and Fred's wise to not waste his time being an early declared candidate. Remember how sick of the '06 campaign everyone got? Fred knows that he's firing up the political junkies and grassroots people right now while the other candidates expend useless energy boring people and beating each other up.
Most of America couldn't give a crap about the '08 election yet and Fred is doing it right to stay above the fray and differentiate himself as someone different than the bunch.
The problem is, so many people think Hunter's 'out there' that no matter how many conservatives groove on him, he can't win a general election. His fans are blind to how he appears to those outside their circle.
I just watched Fred on Hannity & Colmes and, based on his interview with Hannity, Fred has my support and vote. Thank goodness, we finally have a candidate that says it like it is, doesn’t talk out of both sides of his mouth, and who isn’t politically correct.
I’m neither a fan nor “grooving,” but I do think he is capable and correct on the issues and the best of the current choices. By the time the primary rolls around to Michigan, I may think otherwise. I will vote on who I think is best, period, without reference to what I think everyone else thinks.
