just goes to show people are in bed with their own chosen candidate to a fault

Ding ding ding. We have a winner.

I looked through each of the candidates. My first pick was Tancredo, then Hunter. I moved to Thompson because he's the only one of the bunch that either a) has a snow-ball's chance in hell of being elected and b) is handling the run-up to the campaing smartly.

Look how large his "base" is even now. What do you think will happen when he officially announces? Those other candidates the "believe in nothing, believe in anything" crowd are screeching about now will fade into non-existance.

I actually first leaned towards Rudy, then Hunter, then none of the above, now Fred.. My philosophy is to support the best, not to be married to them..
