Whenever I see Romney speak, I expect him to be introduced as “veteran meteorologist Mitt Romney.”

Most of them explain too much.
They need to keep their answers at a higher level.

He sems to be the Republicans version of John Edwards.
No. John Edwards is beyond gay. Romney is just a well-groomed CEO type. We shouldn't resent that he has regular features, a good suit and has taken care of himself well.
Romney started scoring a round of applause for criticizing Dims on WOT but Wolfie had to step on that.

Finally, an immigration question, probably the most important issue right now to REpublicans.

Yes. Romney is articulate. He gave a good answer.
To: alicewonders
Mitt Romney took Blizter to task with the first question of the debate, he is a really good debator.
To: Jet Jaguar
Tancredo up
Yes Amnesty would be disastrous
To: AVNevis

Tancredo: why this immigration bill is no good.
Testing our resolve to stay together as a nation or split apart into Balkanized groups.
Bilingual nation not a good thing. Applause.
Rudy on next.

I agree - better from Guiliani than I would have expected. (The debate is taking place 2.5 miles from my home - so we’re watching with rapt attention here).
To: Tennessee Nana
