IIRC, Vince Foster’s widow remarried approximately 2 years after his death. Her new husband was a federal judge, but I don’t recall his name.

This information was from an article in the LATimes sunday magazine sometime in 1996. I didn’t save the article, but recall the information as I thought at the time that she remarried rather soon following Vince Foster’s death.

Some people would later say that Vince Foster – tall, with impeccable manners and a formal mien and horrible taste in women – worshipped Hillary Clinton from the start...

Why write such an article? Is it meant to insulate Hillary from some upcoming revelation regarding VF and his untimely death? Hillary’s people would rather have the media forget VF ever existed I would assume. Is Bernstein playing out his own guilty feelings of having swallowed the cover-up cover story regarding VF’s death? Wouldn't’t it just be better to leave all this unsaid? Is he anticipating the scandal by scandal, crime by crime replay and reexamination of the Clinton Years that may well soon be a constant feature in the Alternative and even Mainstream press? I think it is a little of all of the above, with revelations lurking and soon to be exposed.

Foster and Hubbell poked fun at her intensity, tutored her in the traditions of Little Rock and looked out for her like a little sister.

I assume this means they were having marital relations (this is Arkansas after all).

This narrative just does not build up to a credible reason for Vince Foster to commit suicide.

Exactly.

Five hours later police found him shot dead at Fort Marcy Park in northern Virginia, outside Washington

The piece does not include the word "suicide" (except for Hillary's quote). The author does not use the word "suicide." The author refers to Foster as having been shot dead. That's an interesting way to describe a suicide.

—The White House, meanwhile, refused inquiries from the press and interested organisations to identify her 500 consultants, or provide any details of what they were working on. This made practical sense. There was no precedent for presidential administrations drafting legislation in public; and, even in secret, the process was disorderly. Advance release of partially developed ideas might encourage premature debate, divert energy from formulating final recommendations and hamper the work generally. —

Ha! Exactly the same situation as Cheney’s energy task force. Did Bernstein agree with his fellow MSM & libs when they trashed the VP for not disclosing HIS consultants?

Why write such an article?

I suspect it's a "limited hang-out" thing. He's acknowledging that there were problems, but leaving out the most damning details. For instance, he writes about the Travel Office firings but completely leaves out the subsequent abuse of the FBI and IRS, without which this would have been a very minor scandal.

The author refers to Foster as having been shot dead.

Yup. And that's Mr. Watergate himself saying it.

Bernstein, what a pompous ass - notice in the credit he’s identified as “Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein”.

Reading even half of this made me feel like I needed a good shower. The Clinton’s and their inner circle, there’s no honor, class or inspiration in any of them. A tedious pack of self-serving, vulgar opportunists, all of them.

That part about them being the smartest people in AR and coming into a different league of “intellects” when they slithered into DC, what a pile of crap. There must be a ton of stupid people in AR if that’s the case, or maybe a Yankee snob like Carl just things everyone in AR are pig farmers or bootleggers.

If he spent time at any of the larger universities in the state, he could find people with a lot more smarts than Bubba and the PIAPS in any of the faculty staff rooms.

Will America ever be free from this odious couple of grifters ???

If I recall correctly the gun was found in the wrong hand, he was left handed and it was in his right hand or vice versa.

I will go to my grave convinced that Hillary did in Vince Foster. No doubt in my mind. None at all.

I figure she crossed so many lines he couldn’t tolerate, and was going to blow some big whistles.
With the usual Clinton methods of silencing knowledgeable opponents, she offed him. Period.
For all her transgressions, I wish that she would go to the electric chair for this crime.

It was reportedly termed "innoculation" by insiders in the Clinton administration.

DNA testing aside, put a pic of Chelsea and Web side by side, let your common sense take over, and there’s little doubt. Blackbird.

This is appalling--that the Clinton spin-meisters use a man in close proximity to the Clintons--and who, for all the rumors, might literally have been *murdered* for cheesing off the wrong people--in order to evoke sympathy for them.

Ain't never gonna vote Hillary.

But how did the Republic ever fall so far, as to allow people like her to become candidates?

Thought the same thing myself. Wonder if that’s why his medical records were never released.....
