However, after 9/11, if I am on an AIRPLANE and some guys start going wacko, I daresay that it is worth the risk to try and get control of the situation because we know what can happen now. Also if this was some kind of probe, we need to send a clear message to the jihadis that if you start acting up on an airplane, you WILL be taken down.

Northwest seems to be particularly inept at applying travel security regulations.
I just flew with them a couple of weeks ago, and if the FAA has intructed Captains to remind passengers before takeoff that congregating in and blocking aisles and bathroom areas is not allowed, particularly during takeoffs and landings, these particular pilots either ignored the directive or never heard of it.

Many people have flying phobia. I would expect a number of the females to cry under extreme cicumstances. The author very deliberately wanted to make it sound as if the passengers "overreacted".

I thought that I recognized Hayden. He used to jog past my street a couple of times a week. He was in incredible shape and always struck me as someone who you would not want to mess with. At the time I didn’t know that he was a police officer. Good for him.
Can’t wait to find out the ethnicity of these guys.
