I believe that immigration should be first and foremost for foreigners married to US citizens (as many have been married to soldiers) and for English-speaking foreigners who want to move here primarily out of preference for our culture and form of government. ...not hordes of foreign-language, overly subservient singles to suit dishonest employers. Too many immigrants who retain foreign cultures, languages and allegiances are more expensive for all of us to attempt to assimilate into American society.
Our immigration system was more based on family considerations and preferences for American culture in the past. Now it’s based more on third-world, overly subservient labor, abuse and vanities.
And there is the problem: we NO LONGER can even THINK our “system” is SUPERIOR to all others.
“How dare you! Arrogant American!”
PC has torn us down as no better - and indeed, worse - than other nations or systems.
Hence, don’t bring up that we need to preserve our system. They’ll condemn you for thinking the foreign systems are worse and inferior.
(Which they are.)
We no longer can make that choice of who/what is better so that we can act.

I object to the term “illegal immigrants.” They are not immigrants, they have made no effort to be legal. They have climbed over or under fences and eluded the border patrol. Lets call them what they are, INVADERS.
