I’m grateful for that. But as for my own current and fallible opinion...
I’m afraid most of the good thoughts I have of Dubya are simply memories.
That’s a sad way to end a two-term tenure as President of a super-power.

Your post is a poignant reminder of exactly why it’s been SO difficult for many of us who were supporters of this president, and are no longer..

For some folks- this was a short leap- they already disliked or distrusted the president. For others, like me, who believed in and defended him for 6 years -even when we occasionally disagreed with him, this immigration bill has been a wrenching, even heartbreaking moment.
