Why shouldn't we look at his family situation, if he's a potential for our support? We have so many lousy choices, we're likely to jump first and think second when someone halfway decent comes along.
You do have a point--McCain always seems to get a pass.

Why shouldn't we look at his family situation, if he's a potential for our support? There is no reason not to look at his family situation, it will be an issue of some degree of importance in the election to some people just as HillBillary's travesty of a marriage will be for many others. But to consign him to defeat at this stage of the game just because he's in his 60's and has a relatively young and attractive wife is silly IMHO.
