It's tiny, bright and clear, with ultra-low power consumption, and the wearer sees the equivalent of a 30" screen at a 2 metre distance.
Only 30"? I'm already looking for an upgrade to that! LOL!

Great. Everybody where I live already drives with blinders on.
Now they can drive while watching a movie.
Time to get me one of those armor-plated hummers...

The ability to mount a miniature display in a set of glasses opens up a whole new portable video experience where any seat on the bus can be a personal movie theatre and you'll be able to enjoy your video in complete privacy. Hallelujah!
Now I can get mugged on the street or on the bus for my cool video glasses, in addition to my sports shoes, my sweatshirt, my ipod, my gameboy...
What a country!

And slip and fall lawyers are licking their chops in anticipation of windfall profits.
“Your honor, and gentlefolk of the jury, I ask that you find for the plaintiff. The love scene from “Brokeback Mountain” caused him to close his eyes while crossing the street against the light and stepping into the path of the bus. The sum of eleventy seven gazillion dollars will send a clear message to those that would exploit the feeeble minded.”

Interesting, but I don’t see how it’ll work for everyone. I mean, don’t you need 20/20 vision? Are they going to have prescription eye-screens? I hope so. It’d be great to have internet access with one of these things.

I use these right now:
Which are a huge advancement in design and miniaturization to previous products like these:
I can't wait to use products based upon future improvements/refinements of this new technology as they'll be even less bulky and more comfortable to wear. Although, the specs from the magazine article define a product that has less resolution and a smaller image than what I've got now. And the prototype headgear is actually bulkier.
