I will always remember the first time I saw it. It was still very dark at 4am and I was heading north toward it. There’s a big double curve in the road south of the statue, so it looks like the statue is in the middle of the highway, and it is lit up bright white.
Like I said, it’s like a huge apparition.
Its quite a sight, the 1st time my kids saw it they were amazed too.
We went to the park, its pretty cool and they even have a replica of Sams head which is 6 or 8’ tall.
