I heard that on Dr. Demento back in the late 70’s. Often, if a person who is speaking to me gets flustered in what they say, my response is “I’m my own grand pa”.
My opinion is that no woman wants to be made fun of like Barbara Bush, so they overcompensate by looking younger.
