Now there?s a new one.
Would you two kindly share with this Hunter supporter and potential Thompson supporter, WTF is a "Romney and Hunter pimp"?

FWIW I don't know if anyone's posted this yet but Thompson is saying the right things on illegal immigration:
Thompson says GOP needs to go back to basics
His harsh criticism of the proposed immigration reform bill worked out by some GOP and Democratic leaders in the Senate received the most enthusiastic response - by far.
"This is our home and we get to decide who gets to come into our home," he said.
Thompson said Congress needs to "secure the border first before you do anything else," drawing another standing ovation.

This “Hunter pimp” will gladly vote for Thompson should he secure the nomination.
Now, about this issue you have with name calling...

Of course, spending the last several years in Hollywood has enabled Thompson to avoid taking positions on many current issues. Once he gets in the race, Thompson will have to be much more specific about his positions. But, given the fact that McCain, Romney, and Giuliani are clearly big-government conservatives, Thompson has an opportunity to seize the small-government mantle.

CATO is the biggest single proponent of open borders, immiasion, and the destruction of the nation-state. They are small-government, but they are also un-American.

Without commenting on the candidates, I wish to point out there are many within the Republican party who have little moral compass, nor are they truly conservatives.

Both tell people what they believe they want to hear, however their track record states otherwise. I’m tired of that.

Tancredo wants to get rid of the Dept. of Education...Glory Hallelujah! The Dept. of Education. is a multibillion dollar a year waste of money (I am a public school teacher). I haven't paid much attention to Tancredo, but I will certainly keep an eye open. I am actually a Fredhead, but it is ideas like this from Tancredo that can make our country better. I truly believe that the 2nd tier candidates really represent America and its values.

Amen!
Dissolving Jimmah's Federal School Board was part of the Contract With America and, of course, never passed. That doesn't mean it was a bad idea, and it was part of the platform that launched the Republicans to control of the House in '94.
My question is, where's the opposition to doing this? Carter started it, for crying out loud, that alone tells us that it is BAD.
You should click the link on my Tancredo ping and look at where he stands on the issues. His platform should be the GOP's platform.

Thompson do not represent classical liberal views. Why are you conservatives acting like classical liberals? The Republican Party is a fascist party now.

I would probably support him if Fred did not decide to run.

And so it begins.
Do you know what the greatest position in football is? Backup QB. People naturally hate the starter because they see his mistakes all the time.
Not so when you’re the backup QB. Everybody loves you. Sometimes the backup gets in the game and does great, see Tom Brady or Tony Romo, and becomes a legend.
Other times, the backup gets in the game, stinks up the joint and then people finally understand why he’s been the backup.
We’ll see what happens with Fred. I’m rooting for him to show me something. History is his for the taking.
