As always, I don't trust the US Senate enough to be truthful about their deliberations or intentions when it comes to illegal immigration, so I conducted my own research, watched hours of Senate debate, searched the congressional record, and read this bill cover to cover, inclusive of the various amendments.
Under this legislation the definition of a "guest worker" will include both skilled and unskilled laborers, as well as their wives and/or husbands and their minor children. Some Democrats are even claiming that's not enough...
This legislation also creates separate, protected categories of aliens. Anyone deemed to be from a country with an ongoing armed conflict or natural disaster can conceivably qualify to be an alien in "Temporary Protected Status", not subject to deportation. Even terrorists. Even if we decided it would be prudent to round up and deport large numbers of foreigners, all it would take is a small war, natural disaster, or petition by a foreign government, and we're stuck with these people.
This legislation allocates 400 million dollars for development of a new federal employment verification system. In total, the American taxpayers will cough up several billion dollars for increased infrastructure, security improvements, and enforcement mechanisms for the coming flood. Not only are they taking US jobs, they're demanding all the trappings of US citizenship, costing us billions in the process.
Finally, this legislation puts far to much authority in one person's hands, by giving the Secretary of Homeland Security almost unlimited discretion to waive any and all enforcement actions against illegal aliens.

Response: Rightly so. It seems that the best of our society do not run for and obtain office, but only the worst or those for various reasons who do not even belong to our society seek and obtain governance. Perhaps it is time to look at the office seekers very nature, and the nature of their antecedents. Ask oneself, does this person belong?
Any American that has not paid his taxes the last few years should also get forgivness from the IRS like the illigals will.
Or he should go to ans ask to get a Zpass, or whatever it is called so he can excape taxes.
New plan see tag line.
Haven't we had enough of the Kennedys?
Or the Clintons?
Or the Bushes for that matter?
Since we're in such a forgiving mood, we should also forgive any American convicted of simple drug possession, DUIs and any other petty civil offense that didn't result in injury or death....
Yep! The Kennedy’s have been crooks and mountbanks for generations. The only behaviors they have ever exhibited are demagogism and vice addiction. The same with the Clinton’s. Each and every one of them symptoms of an underlying social and political malaise.
Mountbanks, I like that!
You are right on, and lets also forgive elected officals for being such low life scumbags.
And also what about the Americans who keep putting some of these low life scumbags into office over and over and over again? We can’t forget about them.

You know what would kill this thing right now is a group called “Legal Citizens for Zpasses”.
A group that believes anything good enough for illegals is good enough for American citizens. That would include a tax amnesty, a new ID card with only a one day background check, and anything else.

I think we may on to something, lets get this movement started. I will support this bill if it also applies to EVERYONE who is a current US citizen.
Not trusting the U.S. Senate?
Look at this security fence whis has been approved but now gets stuck in not funding.
With all their promises left open ended, down the road comes a rat catching politician running for office with promises to scrap security fences.
There are reasons and justifications when not trusting Senators.
Greetings:
I have two words “Term” “Limits” for the scumbag, lying, and bloodsuckers. That will scare the bejebers out of them.
We all know most of them couldn’t compete for positions in the free market don’t we!!
Let’s go for plea bargain deals for each and every American who committed crimes. Convicted or not yet convicted.
So what, this looks like a free for all.
“I have two words Term Limits for the scumbag, lying, and bloodsuckers”
I think they are ALSO bloodsuckers..
Indeed. At least last time, the House stopped this thing dead in it’s tracks. I think this time, we may not be so lucky...
Why should ANY alien (not immigrant) be given preferential treatment?
These corrupt politicians are going to get all of us killed. The terrorists might be evil but they are not stupid. The whole world plays us for suckers while illegal aliens murder 12 Americans per day while we all sit here and finance our own demise. SICK!
The way things are going, we'll have (at least) two protected classes given preferential treatment:
"Queers" and Illegal Aliens.
A democrat congress and executive would make sure that the only unprotected class not deserving of preferential treatment (essentially given inferior treatment) will be the average, normal 'non-victim' American.
Quite right. To the contrary, despite living in caves and using camels for mass transit, they manage to wage quite sophisticated propaganda campaigns and guerilla wars.
But who says we need terrorists to finish us off when we have the US Senate??
