For information, after my post about the $.01 “irritation contribution,” a FREEPER let me know that the minimum amount they are required to itemize in their FEC reports is $200.00.
Umm...I would rather donate to a good cause than give a Congressman I don’t like that much just to make him or her report it. So I sent the $0.01 check anyway (just to let them know how much - rather how little - regard I have for their efforts so far) but I don’t expect to see it in any reports.
OK, so instead of plugged nickels, how about plugged pennies!
