It was J M Adovasio who said that the glacial edge (during the Ice Age) was just north of Meadowcroft that has been dated to at least 16,000 year ago...And, the Topper Site in South Carolina may be as old as 50k. Why would these people hang around in this arctic climate (necessary to create the circles) when they could go to balmy Florida? Maybe it wasn't cold enough there to make the Carolina Bays that way, huh?
