We are making a mistake by believing that the Iraqi insurgents are incapable of making an EFP - they can be very sophisticated but they do not have to be. Never underestimate the enemy.
I have no doubt though that a lot of things are slipping in to both Iraq and Afghanistan from Iran over the border. We seem to have the same concern for securing those borders as we do our own. (**this is my lame attempt at sarcasm)
