but would a pipeline actually blow up? Or would it require a opening inside the pipeline to get air insdie to blow it up?
I thought JP5 was nothing much more than ultra-pure kerosene. How do you get “unimaginable” from a big kerosene fire out of a wick (pipe) that has the pressure off from the pumps being cut (and the check valves sealing the flow) as soon as the sensors detect a sudden, severe under-pressure (leak, broken pipe)?

I think this whole deal is just a waaaaay premature arrest (read sacrifice of an ongoing investigation) to provide bush more cover than the Iraq matter does while the immigration sellout debate resumes in the senate; and that the media is all too willing to embellish for either their own idealogical agenda, ratings, or both.
Either way, America loses.....oh, and btw...thousands of reporters/talking-heads have and will get more face-time than the traitors in the senate will next week.
