I don't know what the trigger will be - passage of this bill, another terror attack, peace protestors gone wild - but I won't be surprised when violence breaks out among normally law abiding people. It will be ugly, but I see it coming in the next few years. I don't want it to happen, but that's the path we're heading down.
Buchanan was right on Immigration, and everyone called him a racist. He was on it years before.
Periods that are of most interest to historians tend to be rather unpleasant for those living in them.
Yes. How is someone to “lock and load” to fight the GOP when 1) he is NOT a Republican and 2) he won’t do the same for national security and fighting terrorists. Other than that, this article is a rehash and is nothing special.

You must really like Jane Fonda. She did that, too. Two sides of a coin... |
Do you hold elective office on a GOP ticket? If not, you aren’t actually a “Republican” either.
“he wont do the same for national security and fighting terrorists. “
What do you think this amnesty bill and all the rest of the egregious assaults on our national interest perpetrated by this Administration (like Convention on the Law of the Sea) will do for our national security and fighting terrorists?
Come on, Bush considers the representative of half the enemy (the Saudis) as a member of the family (Bandar “Bush”).
“You must really like
Jane Fonda. She did that, too.
Two sides of a coin...”
What would you suggest? Quiet submission to the will of our “betters”?
You are an effing idiot and make no sense.
“You are an effing idiot and make no sense.”
Perhaps you ARE a Republican officeholder after all....
LOL! That is very funny and I appreciate your sense of humor! (I am still laughing)
I never even thought about him joining them, but you are exactly right. He's just like them, and it's causing bad feelings between the Mexicans and Americans. IMO, before this is all over, there's likely to be bloodshed. I hope not, but passions are running very high.
I know you probably think that unfair [though you probably wouldn't if your forebearers had achieved anything] but the way forward for us all is by relying on those who have accomplished something in the past, not just you lunatic kooks who hate anyone less than lily-white.
And then you talk of detachment from reality, and I laugh.
If you loved your country half as much as you pretend then you wouldn't trade the deaths of your country-men for potential book sales.
I share your concern.. it seems Bush somehow manages to anger all sides of the aisle(s).
We should rebuild the grassroots conservative movement. From the Reagan Revolution of 1980 through the Contract with America in 1994, it was this movement from outside Washington that carried us to the first center-right majority governing coalition in more than 60 years. The problem has not been with conservatism or with our voters.
The problem has been with Republican leaders who forgot who elected them and what values their supporters expected to see implemented in Washington.

drpix deserves the hattip for that animated graphic- I’m just happy to propagate it— it says much, using little.
About a week ago I saw a video on YouTube and it was made by a man who is a Viet Nam Vet from South Carolina. He was mad because Lindsey Graham called us "bigots." He ranted and raved and said he would kick his @ss if he can get his hands on him, and then he said he would "meet with an unpleasant end." LOL Someone must have reported him because YouTube took it down. People are irate over this whole mess, and someone like that could actually do something to one of those traitors. It may come to that before this government is brought back under control of "we the people." They are definitely out of control.
