Giuliani supporters are changing New Jersey's longtime proportional representation rules for allocating national convention delegates to winner-take-all, seeking a coup to give him the lion's share of the state's 52 votes. A June 14 meeting of New Jersey's Republican State Central Committee is expected to adopt a Feb 5 presidential primary procedure......giving first-place finisher all 3 delegates in each of the state's 13 House districts, and the statewide leader all 13 at-large delegates. In the past, delegates were divided according to their share of the vote.

The all-important system of "checks and balances" the Framer's wrote into our representative form of government would be decimated.
Rudolfo has several personality disorders which disqualify him from public office: (1) he is obsessively egocentric, (2) he puckers up on cue, and kneels in obeisance to hyphenated voting blocs. Plus, (3) Rudy really, really enjoys slapping down conservative voters. Ruthless Rooty is conscienceless, lies with impunity, and has absolutely no shame (the signs of a sociopath).
Not too surprising for Joisey, I’m afraid. They love changing the rules in mid-game.
I don't believe that the insane Rudy is as popular with the little people as his press would have you (and him) believe
.
So you're saying he was the quintessential US Attorney
.
Actually, I was among those willing to look Rudy over at first. He has never been a pleasant man, but he did an outstanding job of turning NYC around. I was working there at the time and witnessed the changes. Sure, Bratten ran the police, but he needed someone like Rudy backing him.
Right now, Bratten is failing in Los Angeles because he has agreed to work for a lousy mayor. He is making the same mistake that Dinkens did in New York: backing a bunch of law-breaking rioters for political popularity, and punishing the police who tried to maintain order.
So, I might have backed Rudy if he had changed his basic positions—right to life, guns, etc. But thankfully he has clearly revealed that he is hopeless on all those issues and therefore a terrible candidate for POTUS.
At least he has always been honest—unpleasantly honest. But evidently politically and morally blind. As a result, he is toast.
Of course, polls also show Rudy leading every Gopers as well as Hildabeast. That would have been good info to include in this rant. No other Pub will take NJ or Pa. so please stop the conspiracy malarky. SC has Rudy ahead. Is that a wacky Christian conspiracy to put Rudy ahead? And in Ohio, and in Fla. and in Ca.?? Boy, those wacky Christian conservatives who want the anti-Christ to win. This is Ron Paul ranting.
They'll just vote for Hillary.
I was hardly ranting. I’m one of the few around here that hoped Rudy would work out. Unfortunately he hasn’t been willing to change on some of the foundational issues.
Fred Thompson would kick so much ass as President.
I really hope he clobbers the Rudy and Mccain flip floppers.
The weather forecast is bad. If you know some folks in NJ, call them if they are reliable.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Amen, sistah! Remember when Limbaugh and other conservative pundits kept repeating during the 8-year Clinton nightmare how “character matters”? Rudy is seriously lacking in that regard. Anyone who proudly flaunts his adulterous affair for the entire world to see is NOT fit to occupy the White House.
But there’s an even more basic reason conservatives should oppose this clown: he’s n arch-liberal, pure and simple. On many social issues, he’s as far left as Hillary. Although his subordinates did a fine job of cleaning up the streets of NYC (until he fired them to protect his delicate ego), that’s a far cry from managing an entire country. Despite all his tough talk, he has no experience in that regard. Rudy-talk was circulating for years before he officially entered the race, and for that we can thank the
RINOs and their friends in the liberal media, who, assuming he gets the GOP nod, stand to win whichever party is elected. JMO
I agree with you 100%. North-easterners are so excited to be a possible swing state in the election, that they don’t care that their candidate is a RINO and will not appeal to middle America. Northeastern Republicans are real busy trying to convince conservatives that conservatives will vote for him. Yet, every single conservative I know will not vote for Rooty (and I’m from NYC).
The whole Rooty campaign has displayed some of the most deceiving tactics I have ever witnessed, well unless you are a Democrat.
Rooty is truly worthy in all ways of the Democrat nomination. His character, and his Mehlman led campaign is shameful.
Rooty is one of the more dangerous candidates ever to have surfaced in American politics. Rooty kneels in obeisance to the self-absorbed Everything-For-Us-Nothing-For-You crowd that want total control of all facets of the US government.
Watch what Rooty says and does---this puppet moves his lips but ruthless globalists are talking.....these people despise social conservatives and want us out of the party; these disturbed sociopaths want total control---to takeover and turn Republicanism into a clone of Dim liberalism.
Rooty is dangerous to the republic as we know it since he would decimate the system of checks and balances the Framers wisely wrote into the system.
Let the word go forth: any candidate who does not perceive issues through the prism of the red, white, and blue, gets his walking papers.
Well said Liz. I believe many are catching on to this fact as they are seeing events unfold.
I did have to laugh when Rooty said he was not for this immigration bill. What a shameless panderer for a guy who wanted a “sanctuary city”. He can say that because he is assured it will pass anyway.
That’s a typical Democrat tactic.
Sounds about right for Rudy.
If Giuliani doesn’t believe he can sweep the delegates in NJ without changing the rules he’s got big problems. That is very good news.
NJ has adopted the NYC state of liberal mind.
Rinos supporting rinos, they see the Republican party as the same as the Democrat party; just a means to obtain power rather than achieve.
