“Worst Republican President ever!”

If you really believe this statement, then you are a fool. In your twisted world, was Reagan the previous holder of the “worst Republican President ever” title?

After all, Reagan did grant amnesty in 1986. According to your rationale, that would have made Reagan the worst, right?

Your comment makes no sense, sounds like a neoconservative who reads The Weekly Standard.

Reagan's amnesty was a mistake as well, but a much smaller mistake when it comes to the number of illegals. They fooled us in '86, but they won't fool us again (although they seem to have fooled you). Also, I had to spend two tours in Iraq under Bush's inept "leadership" as CIC. While I'm in Iraq, Bush is back here refusing to secure the borders to import cheap labor. I think that Reagan was an awesome CIC. You're the one who is living in a "twisted" world. I'm sure the Bush loves having suckers like you around.

I looked at your post history. You are the enemy, a globalist corporate lawyer from NY. You also managed to brag about how much money you make (150k-200k). Congrats! You're one of the worst Bush apologists I've seen here.

Ok, when RR signed amnesty in 86, the borders were to be closed and thats why he went along with it.In addition the numbers were 3 million people. We have seen that the part about sealing the borders was never carried out and now we have 12 to 20 million here illeagally. We now see the track record of these politicos and we will not stand for this non-sense again. We all need to call for Horge Arbusto to be impeached.Period.

And how did Reagan view his choice from the 20/20 perspective of hindsight?

In 1986, people believed that enforcement would follow. Maybe even Reagan. But, it has not. Now we know. We also know Bush is not an enforcer.

Wrong. Reagan admitted later it was wrong.

GWB is too dense to learn from others mistake.

He must be drunk.

It made Reagan wrong.

There’s no value in making 20-50 million illegal immigrants legal immigrants at the stroke of a pen.

They are valuable to corrupt businessmen exploiting them only as long as they are illegal aliens.

Once they are legal aliens, all of the costs employers avoided by hiring illegal aliens are suddenly brought back into play, creating a vast demographic of unemployed and unemployable aliens draining the Welfare State.

Worse, those employers will now obtain additional hosts of illegal aliens...to keep their costs down.
