For that matter, many U.S. products were produced using Govt. subsidies. I guess we should not buy them, it promotes big gov’t.

I’m just wondering where your purist approach would lead us, here... no trade at all, domestic or foreign?

Fair-trade not Free-trade.

That means knowing who you’re trading with and who is benefiting from said trade. I would just as soon not be helping our enemies build a war machine to later use against us.
