Where in the hell was Newt when he had control of a conservative House? It was not a priority for him!!!! Why is Newt getting a pass? Congress in 2002 to 2006 could have sent an immigration bill to GW to sign that included border enforcement first with a fence, punishing employers severely and than somehow dealing with the illegals here. They did not.

Newt Gingrich hasn't been in office since 1999, genius. Think Clinton would've signed immigration reform?

No shiite. He left office in 98 but controlled the house from 94 to 98. Why in the hell did he not pass a strong immigration reform when he had a solidly conservative house majority? Because it was not important to him. It was important for Newt to talk about his contract with America, all along while he was out chasing any skirt he could, including while impeaching the SOB Clinton. Newt could have done something on immigration if he truly cared about the problem. He chose not to because finding some kitty was more important to him. That skirt chasing morally defunct mouthpiece had his chance and FAILED, and he and Noonan will not get a pass from me.
