That’s funny. I can’t see Guliani winning the nomination. If Fred Thompson makes it official, it’s between him and Romney. They have both been very strong on illegal immigration. Romney just has a lot more executive experience and Americans have’nt elected a senator since LBJ.
And that's only because he had been VP and then President first before being elected in his own right. So in a way, it'd be safer to say that we haven't elected a Senator to office since Pres. Kennedy.
