I went to the Eugene newspaper link you posted earlier and man oh man, was that a cast of mangy looking characters.

From what I could glean from the story, these geniuses were all relatively affluent and educated.

The one on the right has that runaway psycho bride, you can see all of her iris, look. A sign of a psycho, for sure.
