He was angry with the Pharisees and angry at their actions. But isn't he the one that states we are all God's children and that you hate the actions not the man.
I hate what my kids do sometimes, but I don't hate them... I'll scream and yell, but I still love them and would probably give my life for them.
He was crucified next to a thief, he looked for the sinners, cause we are the ones that need Jesus the most.
