We humans are a sinful lot, it is our very nature.
It is almost excepted that we are going to stumble during our journey. The literal definition of sin is “to miss the mark.”
The difference for the faithful man is that he does repent. He tries to make himself into someone who will not repeat his previous failings and he does so through the strength and mercy of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
It is the struggle that makes us stronger.
When I hear the words “God loves you just as you are,” I hear people being told not to even try to struggle, to surrender to their worst impulses and to strive forward surrounded by the false knowledge that none of it matters to God.
Deceiving people in that manner is the very opposite of doing good.

I remember seeing that episode of Candid Camera. It was so sweet.
He was absolutely the same on camera as when he thought he was off.
I always KNEW I liked that man!!
