Louis Barletta has proven to be a stand-up guy! Hopefully, he will serve in Congress some day.

I’m afraid it is a drop in the bucket - A good drop though.

It’s good to hear. I’m amazed that the will of the people in Hazleton has not been thwarted by some black robed buffoon, like happened at Farmers Branch.

There are suggestions in Pennsylvania that he would have success if he runs for governor when Fat Eddy Rendell is finally through.

Also Tuesday, two Hispanic candidates lost their primary bids for two open seats on Hazleton City Council. One of the candidates, Rudy Espinal, is a plaintiff in the illegal immigrant lawsuit.it's called "backlash"

That’s great news. Does it mean he’s getting lots of press?

I am wondering when this gets to the house.. if the black caucus will not be against this... they are really getting hit with the job loss, because they are going to illegals..and not the black youth

Even more good news is that the public isn’t buying what the Open Borders crowd is selling.

I’m certainly not buying it.
And I’m e-mailing stories I find on FreeRepublic to my friends to keep them informed on the danger of this “shamnesty”!

I no longer think that this bill will pass. The American people are really rising up against it. It’s one of the hopeful signs for the future of this country (the homeschooling movement is another).

Hopefully, the bill will founder for a long, long time (thus causing even more of an uprising and increased interest in border security by the American people), then die the bloody death it deserves.

I really don’t. The 12,000,000 to 20,000,000 is overwhelming though. Hopefully this action is the start of something.
