I wonder if the volume was turned down a bit and both sides tried to work this out, something couldn`t be created to solve this issue. I know that just saying NO to everything is really granting the illegals AMNESTY. See, amnesty means having no penalty for illegal acts. That`s what is happening now in the real world. Different way to look at things, huh?

Not really. If we manage to get some good people into power in 2008 without passing this garbage first, those people will be able to use the existing law to take action against the illegals. While it's true that nobody's taking much action against illegals now, as long as this garbage doesn't pass the possibility will remain open of that changing in future.

Once this garbage passes, however, it will be much, much harder (and in many cases impossible) to do anything about this invasion.

The existing laws are just words on a piece of paper till Congress funds enforcement and that ain`t going to happen till a deal is cut. That the real world sports fans, In the mean time more will come and amnesty will continue.
