There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call "amnesty" for illegal aliens. "Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue," said the former employee.

LOL, Bush and RINOs are ruining the party and the RNC responds not by fighting them but by firing the callers and adjusting to the lack of response.
Way to continue the destruction fools. What a party.

Hey don’t be so pessimistic, they haven’t cut the staff, they are going to save money for the party by outsourcing the jobs to New Delhi. Its the bottom line that counts. There will be plenty of money to take out repetitive attack ads.

The RNC spokeswoman denied that the committee has seen any drop-off
in contributions.

I think the point is being missed by posters, and the RNC.
Posters here think the RNC may be getting the message. They aren’t. They fired the phone solicitors. They think it’s a problem with the solicitors.

"Any assertion that overall donations have gone down is patently false," Miss Schmitt said. Yup, they must be making up for it by getting more money from companies profiting from all that cheap labor, for whose societal upkeep we will be taxed.

"Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue,"Put me down as someone that he is refering to as I gave somebody an earful last week. It's too bad these people have had to lose their jobs though. Maybe they can renounce their citizenship and then enjoy the benefits of being an illegal in this country with welfare and in state tuition for their children.

What a silly response!
They should give those folks a raise with the earfuls they’ve probably had to listen to.

Thank you for posting this.
This is one of the rare bits of good news I’ve heard all week.
This is the only way the bonehead politicians will get the message.

For once in my life....I was well ahead of the curve. I started passing along my dissatisfaction to the RNC/GOP fundraisers about 2 years ago. And I know that puts me well behind the folks who really saw this crap coming many years earlier.
I broke with the republican party over this issue about five years ago. I was living in kommifornia and saw the state change into a third world toilet just like the place these invaders came from.
Many on FR resented my observations. But seem to have come around.

Do you have any proof they think the problem is with the solicitors?
The way I see it is.. they are firing the solicitors because there is very little to solicit.
It’s the RNC that writes the scripts after all, if the solicitors are not effective wouldn’t it because the script doesn’t work. How much improvisation can a solicitor do?
