There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call "amnesty" for illegal aliens. "Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue," said the former employee.

Sorry. I had to put in a URL but I put one from an article describing violent Illegals trashing a school in Santa Ana, Ca. during the “peaceful” march no one in the media reported. I’ll find another address.
But it’s still a great idea.
Sweet!
Someone more FR savvy than me needs to start a “Day in the life of an illegal alien” thread with pictures and everything.
If not, it'll be the death of the GOP.
American Independent, Constitution, Libertarian, and whatever other party may come along will be celebrating for sure.
If you donate to a candidate, whatever party s/he belongs to thinks you're a likely mark and will start calling/writing. I donated some big money to my Congressbeing once and ever since I've been getting invites to meet with everyone from the governor to God himself, as long as I bring my checkbook.
“Thanks Rove you magnificent (________).”
LOL, I forgot about that wonderful line. What a joke. Jeorge Bush and rove have single handily doomed the GOP.
They will not get one more penny from me. Next I am going to take my taxes from them. I could use that money anyway.
maybe .
Initiatives to cut illegal aliens from receiving government benefits have passed by significant margins. The majority may not want to bar absolutely all immigration, but that doesn't mean there's anything near a majority that wants to open the floodgates.
I would like a politician to explain why someone who sneaks into the U.S. should be treated in any way better than someone who applies for a legitimate visa. All the proposals I've seen reward illegal immigrants for the time they've spent illegally within the U.S. Can anyone explain why this is a good idea?
I was aked for a donation and I told them flatly that so long as the Rinos supported amnesty they’d have to do it without my money or my vote.
Wonder how that border officer feels sitting next to the man that sent 3 of his fellow officers to prison?
Mehlman should have been fired after the midterm elections... Instead he went over to the Julie-Annie camp along with the "log cabin" crowd.
He was always too squishy on television when he could have had a few grand slams. He should have been canned long ago...
I was planning on attending President Bush’s $700 per plate GOP fundraiser here in the Democratic People’s Republic of New Jersey yesterday. That all changed a couple of weeks ago.
I decided to keep my money in my pocket and give it to an as yet to be named Presidential candidate and cause that I actually support. Same reason I now hang up on GOP fundraisers. My money might accidentally go to Olympia Snowe, John McCain or Mike Huckabee.
American Independent, Constitution, Libertarian, and whatever other party may come along will be celebrating for sure.

The GOP burned my bridge some time back, and I made my change. Many have, and will follow. This country needs to rebuild a conservative and patriotic, pro-American party free of leftist opportunists and dedicated to restoring our free Constitutional Republic.
As long as you’re doing it to “improve your economic situation” I think anything’s legal in this country - unless you’re a citizen.
Atlas is way beyond shrugging; he's in the run-up to drop-kick the globe.
Is that you Yul?
