RNC Fires Phone Solicitors [former donors outraged over amnesty]

There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call "amnesty" for illegal aliens. "Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue," said the former employee.

...two weeks ago I mailed back their plea for money with a red Sharpie scrawl that said "Not another dime! Build the fence. Death to RINOs. Grow a spine!"

Good God. They don’t get it, do they? I sacrificed my undergrad GPA, later my free time and cash for this lot of losers? Any Republican representative that supports the immigration reform bill can burn in hell for all I care.

Did any of you listen ALL OF THE WAY thru the soundwave on post 81?

It is very long. If not, you have to go to the very last two soundbites of the track she has of Bush. He is literally drunk. His speech is totally slurred.

Bush's speech was a bit slurred, but the second time Laura played the clip they had used some audio editing software to slow it down a lot extra. This made him sound like he was speaking in slow motion, and made the original slurring sound much worse. I work in radio and I recognize the effect of slowing down the speed but keeping the same pitch of a sound bite.

I’m trying to figure this out. RNC donations are down, but they fire the phone solicitors. But the official reason is the phone system is too expensive. It’s like watching a klown kollege.

We survived 4 years of Carter and 8 years of Clinton we can survive another liberal president, be it Hillary or Rudy. Both are cut from the same cloth, and will damage the country equally.

Better to kill the republican party now and start a new, Conservative Party if we are to have any hope of a Conservative leader to emerge for 2012.
