Are you sure it was D. Hunter and not M. Duncan that sent it?

BS.
Cut off welfare for illegals.
Massive fines on businesses that hire them, followed by JAIL for repeating offense.
The illegals will self-deport.

There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations... many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting... "amnesty" for illegal aliens. Not to worry, the campaign contributions from the illegals will be rolling in any time now.

I read from a reader on NR that this is the equivalent of War of Roses betwween the President and his former conservative loyalists. Sounds about right. That's a poor analogy. It more closely resembles the war between the Royalists and the Roundheads of the Cromwellian era.

Here is the text of an e-mail I just fired off to my state;s two RNC committee members:
Would you please be kind enough to inform your friends at RNC headquarters that firing the phone solicitors is NOT going to fix their fund raising problems. When they stop going along to get along and show some actual backbone by supporting REPUBLICAN issues their fund raising problems will magically end. Until they get that through their thick heads, I suppose they will go thorough a lot of telephone solicitor crews.
Thanks!

Nice. Finally, a language those bonehead politicians understand.
Not necessarily: "The national committee yesterday confirmed the firings that took place more than a week ago, but denied that the move was motivated by declining donor response to phone solicitations." They're in denial.
And another: "'Any assertion that overall donations have gone down is patently false' [RNC spokewoman] Miss Schmitt said."
What I find interesting is that it's usually liberal-biased MSM hacks trying to make Repubs look bad, but the national party machine is doing it to themselves this time. These people are completely tone deaf.
IMO, the "aged phone system" is a smokescreen, and a poor one, at that. That sort of issue is one that can be foreseen and planned for - not delayed until the moment your party's potential presidential candidates begin jostling for position at primary debates.

Can you believe it? France's new guy, Sarkozy or whatever his name is cracking down on illegal aliens! We're being put to shame by the French! Wow. The most humiliating epitaph imaginable for our current President.
"Put to shame by the French."

I have a Dos Mil Pesos (2000 pesos)note, drawn on El Banco De Mexico. The RNC will definitely be receiving this in the mail when they send the next “membership due” notice.

No problem there. But, secure borders first. Then we can talk about what to do about the illegals already here.

Well, glad you have the answer. Could you take a few minutes and get that passed into law and, if you really want to help, maybe you can assist the lawyers when they have to defend your plan in the various state and federal courts.
Thanks so much.

The most humiliating epitaph imaginable for our current President. That might even be worse than having Jimmy Carter considered a better president.
