I have read this report, and it frightens me that so many of our political leaders and candidates are members or former members of the CFR.

It reads like a who's who with our politicians. Very frightening.

I'm in favor of trade as well, just not the kind they have in mind.

It used to mean absolutely nothing to me. A candidate is a member of the CFR? Big deal.

Now, though, I'm growing more convinced that the CFR is driving legislation and what what we believe is good for America is less important to our elected representatives than what the CFR tells them is good for America.

I am nearly to the point that membership in the CFR or an identifiable cozy relationship with CFR members is enough to preclude any candidate from getting my vote.

cue whoever is going to post for my edification a list of Reagan's folks who were members of CFR
