There are jobs in Houston, that said they should cut off all benefits to them. It will be the first time for many that they have had to stand on their own two feet.

There is a reason NO was one of the poorest cities in the nation before Katrina........

19 months and no job, in a place like Houston??????

That’s just the decision I like the free check, over actually putting any effort out.

Now, since 5,500 don’t have jobs and 100,000 remain in Houston, doesn’t that mean that 94,500 have jobs? When did 5,500 people define 100,000?

Unemployment nationwide is around 4.5%. How is a group of 100,000 being represented by 5.5% unemployment so outrageous especially when that entire group was displaced from their home city?
