This strain often arises naturally from cases of ordinary TB, as the bug develops resistance to the drugs being used to treat it. This is probably not a case of an imported disease.

There was a similar stories a couple of months ago, but the man is locked up in AZ. He's not under US gov quarantine, but the state has him isolated.
