Well, if nobody else wants to belly up, I’m going to be putting some tiny chicken Cornish type birds on the slow rolling spit, stuffed with some carrot, onion and celery (mirapois, for those in Eureka) and burning the whole mess over some mesquite. I’m thinking some garlic/celery/chicken-stock brown rice with a rich Cracker Barrel Sharp cheese sauce and perhaps steamed spinach with crisp bacon and butter would be good. Or we could order pizza.
